Awards and Recognition

On the occasion of our fifteenth anniversary in Philadelphia, the Collegium Augustinianum was recognized by official proclamation by the Senate and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at the 2014 Honors Convocation, on May 31, 2014, for its outstanding classical, liberal arts curriculum focused on the Great Books. The Collegium Augustinianum was also recognized as having restored the authority of the professorate to governing over itself and the university as a College of Fellows.

The proclamations by the Pennsylvania Senate and the House of Representatives were received by Archbishop Dr. Craig J. N. de Paulo, our Chancellor, and Bishop Rodney R. Michel, Chancellor Emeritus, on behalf of the College of Fellows and the Board of Trustees.
