Ecclesiastical Degrees and Licensure


The Collegium Augustinianum is authorized to grant ecclesiastical (canonical) degrees in philosophy, theology, canon law and humanities by the Commission for Independent Education of the Department of Education of the State of Florida (Statute 1005.06). 


Our ecclesiastical degrees are further granted by the canonical authority of the Synod of Bishops of the Old Catholic Confederation for ministry in the Old Catholic Church in the United States and within the Churches of the Anglican Communion. 


The Faculty of Theology and School of Divinity prepare candidates for ordained and lay ministry in the Old Catholic Church in the United States, but our degree programs are open to anyone seeking a theological education from any religious tradition.
